Showreels & Website Prices.
The basics :-
A standard showreel - £300 (+vat).
A basic website - £300 (+vat).
Special offer: If you order both simultaneously, you’ll get a £50 discount!
What do you get for your money?
Showreel:-
For the all in price we will collect and digitize your dusty vhs’s and dvd’s into the editing system. In London that’s normally a minimum of £20 per 30 minutes of ‘transfer’ time; we do it included in the price!
You have the option of attending the edit or letting us do a version without you (but to your notes & requirements), and we will provide a ‘viewing copy’ - and then make ‘adjustments’ to your directions, before issuing a final viewing copy. We can either email you Quicktimes or stream the film to your iphone for you to check. Then, when you have ‘approved’ the film we make the ‘deliverables’.
We will give you 5 x DVD’s in clamshells with printed disc labels - enough to impress your friends! Additionally we give you a data CD on which will be the Quicktime versions of the film to ‘Spotlights’ specifications. What more could you ask for!
Website:-
For the all in price we will provide you with a basic 5 page website which can hold your CV, photos, portfolio and showreel. First of all, we talk to you about what you want!
DVD Duplication:-
We can provide multiple DVD’s beyond the initial 5 that come with your order. Each DVD comes with a printed disc label in a transparent clamshell cover. Each DVD is charged at £4 each (+ vat).
Website domain names & hosting:-
Many clients already own their own domain names and site hosting, hence we don’t include it in our price. So for an additional charge we can acquire your domain name and organise your hosting. We have a special relationship with ‘Pearson Treehouse hosting’ and we can quickly get your website up and running!
Copyright
It is very important to note that you need permission to use the footage and music that you use in your showreel or on your website. Copyright is very important to take into consideration, however, most producers normally grant permission for you to use short clips (free of charge) for your showreel - but you should have written permission. Similarly, the use of ‘commercial music’ to accompany your showreel can lead to copyright complications. Unless you have paid or obtained permission to use the music, it is best to use this opportunity to ‘showcase’ your mate’s band, your own compositions or have a score specially composed (£150 from Summer Rain Films’ in-house composer). We have to emphisise that it is your own responsibility to get these permissions.
Why have a showreel?
Employers such as casting directors and producers love being able to see evidence of your talent and a good showreel provides them with the ammunition they need to get you hired! Plus, if you put your showreel on the web the whole world will have access to your talent thus you will get hired! (We believe in positive thinking!)

We also recommend making your showreel no longer than 5 minutes in length to keep the attention!

Apart from being a production company with over ten years of experience, broadcast credits and feature films under our belt... we also have low prices. We are substantially cheaper than the majority of London facilities and we care ‘more than we should’ about the final product! What is more - the ‘digitising & transfer*’ time is included in the original price! (*That’s the time consuming process of turning your dusty vhs’s & dvd’s into digital files that we can edit). Our all-in price also includes delivery on DVD & Data CD of the showreel in the QT format (in precisely the specifications required by industry casting websites such as ‘Spotlight’.
